FREDERICTON, NB – Every academic year, the UNB Business Administration Undergraduate Society honors a graduating Business Administration student with the Encaenia award. This award is given to a student who has never sat on the BAUS executive, and who has taken initiative towards bettering not only their own, but all other BBA students’ university experience. This award features $200 that will help the student in their adventures after university, and of course, bragging rights.
This year, the BAUS is very excited to announce that the chosen recipient for the Encaenia award is Nathan Keizer.
Nathan is a graduating BBA student who has taken the well-being and university experience of other students into his own hands. By involving himself in a vast selection of faculty initiates, such as the Peer Mentor Program and studying abroad, Nathan has proven a tremendous support to all BBA students throughout his time at UNB. This past year, he took on the role of Student Coordinator where he dedicated his time towards ensuring students experienced university life outside of the classroom.
“It was great to see Nathan involved and share his experience with the incoming students. He was always very reliable and willing to contribute wherever he could. I really appreciate the time and effort he gave to the Peer Mentor Program and Business Faculty over the last few years.” – Brittany Herkert, BBA Academic Advisor
Along with the rest of the 2018 class, Nathan is graduating from today, May 16th, 2018. He will be receiving a Bachelor degree in Business Administration with honors in Marketing and Human Resources.
The BAUS would like to wish Nathan the best of luck in his future endeavors and is certain he will continue to help others wherever he may go.
